Competition Suggestion : Earn Thousands with fundraising

I just received a suggestion that I must hold a fundraising competition. I don't know and need inputs from bloggers on the view. The suggestion is that the competition runs on a monthly basis and the company / institution / church / school / person that raises the most money for the month, will win 10% of the netto funds raised worldwide. The second price will be 5% and the 3rd prize will be 2,5%. If more than one to be found 1st 2nd or 3rd the money will be devided. Each fundraiser would be expected to work accourding to the laws the country and the Lubbe Foundation will have to pay taxes on money generated. Therefore it prize money would be paid after South African tax have been deducted and each winner will be liable for own taxes in respective country.

The aim with this is not to find one Church, individual, company or organization that can donate the whole amount, but to find 10 000 Church, individuals, companies or organizations that can help raise $125  or 1000 Church, individuals, companies and/or organizations to help raise $1 250 Or 100 Church, individuals, companies and/or organizations that can help raise $12 500. All donors accept if want to stay annonomys will be credited on our website. Any donations from $1 will help

It is with great sadness that the Lubbe Foundation might be discontinued due to the lack of funding and resources.  The total amount we need to be sustainable is $1.25 mil. If target not reached, the money generated will be used for social upgrading.
